Overview
Panama Hattie's is a large pink building located across the street from St. Augustine Beach. On our trip to St. Augustine Beach we thought we would find lots of beach bars. We were surprised to find there just aren't many of them. Panama Hattie's has outdoor seating and a large upper deck.
We really liked this beach bar's upper deck. Seasonally you will find live music on the weekend, from jazz to reggae. This Florida beach bar is a nice place to kick back and enjoy your favorite beverage. and catch a glimpse of the ocean. There is live entertainment and there are events such as Karaoke, Live Mic Night and Trivia. Their web site calendar will help determine what, where and when.
There is a large dining room on the lower level and that could be a nice place to enjoy your dinner. The upper deck was the place to be the night we were there. There were groups of people enjoying cocktails, laughing and looking out towards the ocean. That's the way you do it at a Florida beach bar. Panama Hattie's has happy hour Monday through Saturday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
