LeTub Saloon is a hidden treasure on A1A in Hollywood, Florida. LeTub Saloon is located behind lush tropical landscaping. LeTub is a little hard to spot when driving along so look for their bright signs and pretty foliage.
In 1959 this location was a Sunoco gas station. Thanks to the gas crisis in the early 70's, this gas station closed but in 1974 it was purchased and turned into the great Florida beach bar it is today. Now for over 30 years, LeTub Saloon has been a favorite of locals and visitors alike. Word of mouth gets people to this establishment. They do little advertising.
This Florida beach bar is located right on the Intracoastal Waterway, and you will find the views to be beautiful. Enjoy an award winning hamburger, a cold drink, and watch the boaters and marine life.
In 2006, GQ Magazine said that LeTub Saloon had the best hamburger in the nation. You can't beat that. LeTub was even featured on the Oprah show. Bet that helped business a lot!
While this Florida beach bar does not have live musical entertainment, you will have a relaxing time there. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is delicious. You can't beat sitting in a waterfront saloon and enjoying good food. The booths have a hand made look as if made from logs.
After 8:00 p.m. there are no children allowed at LeTub and men must wear collared shirts. However, a good time will be had by all at this rambling, multi-level ramshackle of a Florida beach bar.
