Overview
Captain Hiram's sits on the Indian River and is accessible by boat or car. Either way you choose to arrive you will love this Florida beach bar. This Bahamian style beach bar is bound to become one of your favorite beach bars.
The large covered band shell accommodates all kinds of bands and many of them are nationally known and eager to play at the SandBar. The smaller tiki bar band area provides a more intimate setting for some of your favorite local bands. Local bands play at the Sandbar every day and sometimes twice a day. Can't beat that.
The Sand Bar area is so well done. The shade is almost completely provided by an abundance of palm trees. There are man-made covered areas as well. All the tables, chairs and bar areas are painted in lively colors to remind you of the Bahamas. The view of the water and the boats is visible from just about all seating areas. The breeze is wonderful.
You can fully expect this beach bar to be an exciting place to be no matter when you choose to stop by. Bands play every day of the week and twice on Friday and Saturdays.
Some of the seating in this bar is very unique. Try a seat in the lifeboat from the Sky Princess. Or there is a cute little booth area by the bar. There are several bars you can sit by, too. You can even spend the night at their near by resort. It's all here at this great Florida beach bar.
