The Boatyard is located on Siesta Key waterfront and has a great view of the intracoastal Waterway. There aren't many places in the Sarasota area where you can sit and eat and drink and look out on the intracoastal. Wait a minute, I think this is the only one! This Florida beach bar location is one of the best around, and the you will love sitting and watching the boat traffic. Day or night.
The Boatyard has several levels of deck, covered areas with lots of windows and open air seating. Take your pick. All of the tables at the Florida beach bar afford a great view of the intracoastal Waterway. From your seat at this Florida beach bar you can watch the boats and jet skiers travel and maneuver their way up the waterway. Which is one of our favorite things to do.

This Florida beach bar does have one of the best waterfront locations on Siesta Key, but we have been informed that the management does not allow people to sit along the water's edge if they do not order food with their drinks. This is disappointing as it is a great place to sit and enjoy the Intracoastal boating traffic and a cool beverage.
