The 2012 Best Florida Beach bar presentations are complete with seven of the ten holding celebration and appreciation parties. The east coast trip included Racing's North Turn, The Golden Lion Cafe, and Boston's on the Beach. Each event served as a special tribute to those that voted to make these bars part of the Florida Beach Bar Top 10 list for 2012.
St. Pete Beach winners Bongos and Jimmy B's celebrated as tropical storm Debby made her way along the west coast. The wind was gusting and the rain made things a bit wet, but neither could dampen the fun and enthusiasm as at these presentations. Once again, Jimmy B's showed why it has ranked two years in a row as Florida's best beach bar.
Pensacola Beach winners Paradise Bar and Grill and the Sandshaker Lounge celebrated their awards in a way that reflected the personality of their bars. Paradise held its celebration on a Sunday afternoon and was packed with friends, regulars, and locals. Sandshaker's party was late Saturday evening with tons of people having a one great time and discounted bushwackers.
We had a great time at all the events. Our special thanks to all that voted and helped make this year's contest bigger and better than last year. Thanks to all Florida Beach Bars that participated in this year's award presentations.
