 Jimmy B's Beach Bar is part of the Beachcomber Hotel on St. Pete Beach and has been selected as the Best Florida Beach Bar for both 2011 and 2012. In 2013 Jimmy B's made the Top 10 Florida Beach Bar list narrowly missing the top spot for the third consecutive year.
Jimmy B’s has everything you could ask for in a Florida beach bar. Jimmy B's is also very proud to be a number one Florida Beach Bar. Jimmy B's has posted signs everywhere in their bar area. Every time we visit this Florida beach bar we see over and over again why they were voted number one.
Walk through the beautiful grounds of the Beachcomber Hotel, and you will find Jimmy B's Beach Bar smack dab on the beach. This Florida beach bar has a rustic and beachy appearance. Jimmy B’s is abo ut as laid back as it gets. You will find there is a large deck with a bar and lots of tables and chairs. Jimmy B's also has an inside bar area for those who like air conditioning and shade.
Jimmy B's is always packed with fun loving and happy people. There is always a band playing, and these bands never disappoint. The wait staff is always efficient and have a sense of humor. How could you work in a beach bar and not have a sense of humor? It happens, but not at this Florida beach bar.
During the day, the bands play outside on the beach side deck. Jimmy B's is known for having some the best local area bands. We have never heard a bad band there. At 7:30 PM, the bands move inside to entertain you, but you can still hear them outside. Food and drink are easily available in both locations. At sunset, this Florida beach bar serves Sunset Shooters. Enjoy a shooter and the sunset. They are both free. Jimmy B's has a prime location on the Gulf of Mexico for watching sunsets.
We always jump up and head to the boardwalk to get closer to the sunset and enjoy our Sunset Shooter. Is the sunset really better closer to the shore? We seem to think so and so do a lot of other people.
There is room to dance both inside and outside. Put on your dancing shoes or kick off your flip flops and dance to the music of great local bands around. The crowd is full of locals and tourists. Everyone is friendly and having a good time. Relax at this Florida beach bar, listen to a great band and enjoy your cold drink. Jimmy B's is the perfect Florida beach bar. Of course it is, and that is why it was voted the Number One Beach Bar for 2011 and 2012.
